Third round of trilogue negotiations held

The third round of trilogue negotiations were held on 26 November (further to earlier negotiations on 2 and 25 October). As part of MEP Julia Reda’s ongoing updates to the closed-door process, the latest compromise proposals are now available in respect of both the articles and recitals of the Directive. This is in addition to the leaked Austrian Presidency compromise proposal (detailed here).

Further trilogue negotiations are scheduled for 3 and 13 December (and reportedly 14 December), ahead of the final vote in Spring 2019.
