Second round of trilogue negotiations held

The second round of trilogue negotiations on the Copyright Directive were held on 25 October 2018 (agenda available here and latest compromise proposal available here). Of primacy, articles 11 and 13 were considered alongside other articles such as 3 (text and data mining) and articles 4-6 (research and education). Further trilogue negotiations are scheduled for 26 November and 13 December ahead of the final vote in February.

Discussions on articles 11 and 13 have also been held by intellectual property attachés on 30 October 2018.
