CREATe Centre Manager
The role will manage the day-to-day activity in operational delivery of the Centre’s strategic objectives, working closely with the College Research Support Office and School Finance team, assessing opportunities and constraints to inform high quality decision-making in effectively crystallising the Centre’s ambition. Enhancing the Centre’s profile and reputation with external partners and a highly effective digital presence to enable business growth will be a critical role in supporting the Centre’s success and sustainability. Responsibilities will include CREATe’s external digital presence, resources and partner relationships that will attract new research and knowledge exchange awards.
The role will link to CREATe’s presence in the Advanced Research Centre (ARC) and will contribute to the University’s wider knowledge exchange, impact, and commercialisation agenda. The position reflects the needs of the Centre, which brings together a complex but highly effective combination of research, knowledge exchange and teaching activity.
The post holder will have line management responsibilities for administrative and certain project staff associated with the Centre.
Salary will be Grade 7: £38,474 – £43,155 per annum.
