Axel Voss reveals that the press publishers’ right is not “the best idea”

In an interview with Golem.de, Axel Voss stated that the proposed press publishers’ right “is probably not the best idea, but is… the only one we have so far on the table”. Voss explained that the proposed right was nonetheless necessary to “save the free and independent press”, which he is concerned is compromised by global platforms such as Google or Facebook.
