Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) is a fund supporting research training and career development focused on innovation skills. The programme funds worldwide and cross-sector mobility that implements excellent research in any field – a “bottom-up” approach. Endowing researchers with new skills and a wider range of competencies, while offering them attractive working conditions, is a crucial aspect of the MSCA. In addition to fostering mobility between countries, the MSCA also seek to break the real and perceived barriers between academic and other sectors, especially business. Several MSCA initiatives promote the involvement of industry etc. in doctoral and post-doctoral research: for more details see here.
In particular the MSCA Individual Fellowship (IF) supports the best, most promising individual researchers from anywhere in the world. Only experienced researchers can apply: this means you will have your doctoral degree or at least four years’ full-time research experience by the time of the deadline. The grant provides an allowance to cover living, travel and family costs. Within the MSCA IF there are two types of fellowships: European Fellowships which last from one to two years and Global Fellowships which last from two to three years: there is more information here.
CREATe welcomes applications from researchers interested in working with us. Interested applicants are invited to submit an expression of interest identifying the main lines of research to be developed as a joint research proposal with the rest of the CREATe team. The candidate will benefit from a unique team of passionate researchers in a wide scientific area that covers law, economics, computer science, management, sociology, psychology, ethnography and critical studies. We are particularly interested in interdisciplinary proposals that combine the above scientific areas with innovative and empirical methodologies within the research mandate of CREATe (see our research programme).
