Fully Funded PhD at the Centre for Intellectual Property Policy and Management (CIPPM), Bournemouth University

A fully funded PhD studentship (match-funded by Bournemouth University and Econolyst Ltd)  titled ‘Designing for the Future: The Intellectual Property Implications of 3D Printing, 3D Scanning and Mass Customisation’ is available at CIPPM with an expected start date of September 2015.  The closing date is: 12 March 2015.

Supervisory Team

The supervisory team will consist of Dr Dinusha Mendis (Co-Director CIPPM, Associate Professor in Law), Dr. Tania Humphries (Associate Dean, Design and Engineering, Bournemouth University) and Dr. Phil Reeves (Managing Director, Econolyst).

The studentship, part funded by Econolyst, will also provide the opportunity for a placement within Econolyst during the course of the studentship.  Details on this aspect will be confirmed following recruitment.

Details about Funding

The funded candidate will receive a maintenance grant of £14,000 per annum, to cover their living expenses and have their fees waived for 36 months. In addition, research costs, including field work and conference attendance, will be met.

The Funded Studentship is open to both UK/EU and International students unless otherwise specified.
