Junior Researchers submit open letter to European Parliament

2 July 2018

In an open letter published by EuroDoc (The European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers), junior researchers call on MEPs to reject the Copyright Directive (with plenary vote now scheduled for 5 July 2018). Detailing objections to the most contentious articles (namely 3, 11, and 13) the open letter states that the current proposals are a “step backward” in respect of Open Access and Open Science initiatives.
