Federation of European Publishers calls for MEPs to back Copyright Directive

The Federation of European Publishers (FEP) have expressed their support of the Copyright Directive, describing it as “a balance” (previous statement of support available here). FEP director, Anne Bergman-Tahon, also denounced opponents of the Directive stating “[it] was bots, it was a fake mobilisation, completely unrelated to reality”. The statement follows similar shows of support from the Booksellers Association and the Society of Authors.
