Copyright Directive mandate rejected at plenary vote

The European Parliament has rejected the JURI Committee report that would have given rapporteur Axel Voss MEP a mandate to enter negotiations with the Council of the European Union. The plenary vote, including short speeches by JURI rapporteur Axel Voss and the opposing view by rapporteur Catherine Stihler (IMCO Committee) can be seen here.
