By 3 February 2022January 3rd, 2024No Comments

As part of CIPPM’s public lecture series, on Thursday 3 February 2022, 6pm UK GMT, Professor Martin Kretschmer will present “The emergence of platform regulation in the UK“, drawing on a paper he co-authored with Professor Philip Schlesinger and Dr. Ula Furgal. This paper provides an empirical mapping of the UK regulatory landscape and is part of the Platform Regulation project conducted by CREATe for the AHRC Creative Industries Policy & Evidence Centre (PEC).

Other recent platform regulation publications from CREATe researchers, such as The interpretation of a ‘Strategic Market Status’ (Magali Eben) and The neo-regulation of internet platforms in the UK (Philip Schlesinger), are also available on CREATe’s Platform Regulation Resource Page.

The CIPPM event is free to attend, but registration is required. Please e-mail Prof. Dinusha Mendis at dmendis@bournemouth.ac.uk to book your place.

More information about the event on CIPPM’s website.
