Postdoctoral Researcher in Platform Regulation
Regulatory interventions relating to ‘online platforms’ appear to be of a new kind, challenging traditional conceptions such as intermediary liability (intellectual property law) and market definition and innovation harms (competition law). This new postdoctoral position has received funding from the College of Social Sciences at the University of Glasgow to extend the CREATe Centre’s existing work on platform regulation within the AHRC Creative Industries Policy and Evidence (PEC) agenda.
The successful candidate will become part of an interdisciplinary team, working with members of the CREATe Centre in the School of Law, including competition lead Dr Magali Eben and Prof. Martin Kretschmer (the Investigators).
This post is on a full-time (35 hours per week) and fixed-term (24 months) basis.
Salary: Grade 7, £36,382 – £40,927 per annum.
