The European Policy for Intellectual Property association – EPIP – announces its 16th Annual Conference in Madrid, Spain, from 8 to 10 September 2021, hosted by the Institute of Public Goods and Policies at the Spanish National Research Council, CSIC-IPP, in Madrid, Spain. It will be organised as a hybrid conference, in which speakers and attendees will participate both from the Madrid conference venues, and online. If developments in the coming months will not allow such a hybrid format, the conference will be fully online.
Scholars from all disciplines and practitioners interested in the economic, managerial, legal and political aspects of IP are all encouraged to submit and/or to attend. All forms of IP are relevant, whether patents, copyrights, trademarks, plant breeding rights, geographical indications, design rights, trade secrets or others.
Program with notable academics and practitioners invited as keynote speakers and panelists in roundtables and themed sessions. The conference includes a PhD workshop on 8 September, free of charge to PhD students.
