90 European organisations submit open letter to EU: “delete Articles 11 and 13”

An open letter addressed to MEPs and European Commission Vice-President Andrus Ansip has achieved 90 signatures from European organisations (including EDRi, Allied for Startups, and Civil Liberties Union for Europe). The letter calls explicitly for the deletion of articles 11 and 13 from the proposed Copyright Directive, detailing “manifest flaws” and “insurmountable stumbling blocks” in the provisions.
