CREATe runs fully online Masters level study programmes (MSc@CREATe & LLM@CREATe, along with their underlying PG Dip & PG Cert levels) that are intended for people working in (or seeking to enter) industry sectors where digital rights and obligations are a key concern. Successful leadership in the digital creative economy requires linking complex legal provisions (such as copyright, trademarks, data protection and privacy) to economic analysis and strategic thinking about markets and regulation. LLM/ PG Dip/ PG Cert in Intellectual Property, Innovation and the Creative Economy
In September 2017, we are also launching the online LLM in Intellectual Property, Innovation and the Creative Economy (LLM@CREATe/ subject to approval), from the same family of courses as the MSc above, to appeal to law graduates. Those on this route will take three mandatory specialist law courses (copyright, trade marks and brands, information law & data management) and a law dissertation, plus three options from courses on the MSc route. You can choose to enroll on the PG Certificate (covering three 20 credit courses) or the PG Diploma (six 20 credit courses) of this programme (subject to approval), and decide later to take carry your credits to the full LLM.
