CREATe Joins with Open Access Week

CREATe is joining International Open Access Week (23-27 October) with a number of events:

24 October – Director Martin Kretschmer is speaking at Untangling Academic Publishing: Launch and Discussion, an event at the University of St Andrews about the past and future of academic publishing. Find out more here.

26 October – OpenAIRE is organising a series of webinars on a variety of topics, including discipline-specific tools and workflows, the legal aspects of Open Science, and an interactive session on Research Data Management. CREATe’s Thomas Margoni will be presenting on the topic Legal aspects of Open Science, alongside Prodromos Tsiavos, Head of Digital Development at the Onassis Cultural Centre and a Senior Research Fellow at The Media Institute (TMI), London. 27 October – CREATe is taking part in the Researchers’ Fair at the University of Glasgow Library. Open to all researchers at Glasgow, from current doctoral students to experienced researchers, the Fair brings together practical advice, support, games, talks and activities. CREATe will be represented by Copyright User and the OpenMinTed project. Find out more here.
