We have released a limited number of additional tickets, due to the high demand for our one-day conference exploring how copyright impacts the access to, and use of, our shared cultural heritage across borders and online.
A list of speakers and booking link can be found here.
The event is complemented by two pop-up events, which are also free and don’t require booking, an exhibition and a #drinkingaboutmuseums meet up.
Display At Your Own Risk: an exhibition experiment, 6pm-8.30pm, 8th June
Copyright and Cultural Memory has been programmed to coincide with Display At Your Own Risk (DAYOR) a research-led exhibition experiment concerning with the use and re-use of digital surrogates of public domain works of art created by cultural heritage institutions of international repute.
Please do join us at The Lighthouse for this one-off event – no booking is required but we encourage you to look at the DAYOR website and tweet using the exhibition hashtag #myDAYOR
#DrinkingAboutMuseums Social Gathering, 5pm, 9th June
After the conference, we invite everyone to join us at the Old Hairdressers (27 Renfield Lane) from 5pm for a Glasgow chapter celebration of #drinkingaboutmuseums (@DrinkingMuseums)
#Drinkingaboutmuseums is an opportunity to gather and network over a drink with folks in all GLAM sectors, not just museums.
